How much do you pay for rent in Pigeon Forge?

Hello, I've been here for 15 years and Poverty rate is 20.4%, which is higher than I expected. Average temperature is around 55--F, so the weather is moderate. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Any help is appreciated. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a chef who relocated here from LA about 8 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Strong job market in several industries
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are established, gas is excellent.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Feel free to reach out with questions..
