Raising a family in Pikesville -thoughts?

Alright, Homes are going for about $404,100 on average. The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I have mixed feelings honestly. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

The food scene here is hit or miss. Tons of great farm-to-table places. it's exactly what I was looking for.
