Thinking about relocating to Pikeville from New York

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I relocated for work and Crime rate is something to consider -Pikeville sits at 273.1 per 100K. Median household income is $39,216, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's a a small town city with about 7,560 people. The median home value here is around $301,300, which seems about average. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want job market, then yeah this place is great. But if healthcare matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
