Housing in Pine Bluff compared to Chicago
First post here. Just moved here 3 months ago and Median household income is $41,250, which feels on the lower side for the area. The median home value here is around $86,400, which is actually reasonable. Homes are going for about $86,400 on average. It's a a smaller city city with about 40,436 people. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Am I overthinking this? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
