Biggest downsides of living in Pine Castle?

Hey, We have two kids and Rent is about $1,249/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 16.6%, which is higher than I expected. Household incomes average around $46,154 in Pine Castle. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What do you all think? The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Midtown. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in government. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Hope this helps!.
