Is Pine Castle good for remote workers?

The median home value here is around $286,900, which seems about average. Household incomes average around $46,154 in Pine Castle. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is school system. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Riverside for 11 years. Moved from Raleigh for cost of living. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is hit or miss. We bought in 2016 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 2-bed in a safe area. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals.

**Employment:**
real estate is strong here. finance is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are wild for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I'm still on the fence after all this time. The outdoor scene is underrated - we have national forests within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Riverside schools are average. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Limited shopping options. Far from beaches/mountains. And pet-friendliness can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For young professionals, I'd say this is a 9/10. Good luck with whatever you decide.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Public transit is tough here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's exactly what I was looking for.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is pretty good in most areas.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is housing market. I love the pace of life here. Worth doing your research before committing.

I've been living here for 12 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The nightlife is hit or miss compared to other places I've lived. Overall No regrets on my end..
