Is Pine Hills good for remote workers?

Hey folks, I'm originally from Minneapolis and Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. Rent is about $1,697/month for a decent place. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Thoughts?

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value nightlife, you'll love it. The cost of living is genuinely challenging and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. My neighborhood (Midtown) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Chicago, be prepared for the culture shock. cost of living is completely different here. And Limited public transit options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
