Longtime lurker here, It's a a small town city with about 9,251 people. You can expect to pay around $1,785 for rent here. Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What neighborhoods would you suggest? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
