Anyone else love living in Pine Lakes?
Hi all, I'm originally from Minneapolis and It's a a small town city with about 1,394 people. Homes are going for about $56,400 on average. Poverty rate is 4.7%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Pine Lakes sits at 548.5 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,104 for rent here. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
Pros:
- Good schools
- Good healthcare facilities
- Walkable downtown
Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- High property taxes
- Mosquitoes and humidity
- Chain restaurants dominate
