Should I move to Pinehurst or stay in Phoenix?

I'm a college student here and Household incomes average around $136,406 in Pinehurst. Median household income is $136,406, which feels pretty solid for the area. You can expect to pay around $1,759 for rent here. Rent is about $1,759/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. Would love some local perspective. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 11 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Meadowbrook side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is community vibe. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.
