Been meaning to ask this. Military spouse here. With a population of 53,423, Pinellas Park is a smaller city. It's a a smaller city city with about 53,423 people. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Would love some local perspective.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value cultural scene, you'll love it. The public transit is genuinely better than expected and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. My neighborhood (Eastside) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Baltimore, be prepared for the culture shock. safety is completely different here. And Rising rent and home prices.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
