Thinking about relocating to Piney Point from New York

Alright, Just moved here 9 months ago and Homes are going for about $343,300 on average. Average temperature is around 55--F, so the weather is moderate. With a population of 1,171, Piney Point is a small town. Rent is about $1,645/month for a decent place. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
