Things that make Pirtleville unique

Hi all, I've been here for 1 years and Median household income is $49,022, which feels on the lower side for the area. With a population of 1,869, Pirtleville is a small town. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a sales manager, 40, moved here 11 years ago from Boston. I've lived in Lakewood and Greenfield, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Cost of living is very reasonable
2. Growing food and restaurant scene
3. Low crime in most neighborhoods
4. The people are generally average - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Nightlife is limited
2. Can feel isolated
3. The traffic situation is reasonable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Lakewood: Great for couples. average vibes, walkable.
- Greenfield: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Boston, everything felt hit or miss. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are competitive. Gas is established. You can live comfortably on $50K-$110K here.

**Final verdict:**
Give it a chance - it might surprise you.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
