Is Pittsburgh getting better or worse?

OK so Military spouse here. You can expect to pay around $1,221 for rent here. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Am I overthinking this? Appreciate any input. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is decent in most areas.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want walkability, then yeah this place is great. But if dating scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Hope this helps!.

Bought a house here in 2021 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

We moved here with our family and it was the best decision I ever made. Schools in Eastside area are tough. Kids love it here.
