Housing market in Pittsfield right now

I relocated for work and Median household income is $68,386, which feels about average for the area. You can expect to pay around $1,094 for rent here. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from Pittsburgh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in East. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in engineering. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Korean.

Definitely worth checking out..
