Studio apartments in Placentia -options?

First post here. Crime rate is something to consider -Placentia sits at 371.0 per 100K. Average temperature is around 68--F, so the weather is moderate. Homes are going for about $871,000 on average. The median home value here is around $871,000, which is pretty steep. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

I'm a project manager and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.

I've lived in East for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from San Diego, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Four distinct seasons
- Close to major attractions
- The school system scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for retirees. Feel free to reach out with questions..
