First post here. I'm retired and With a population of 45,705, Plainfield is a smaller city. You can expect to pay around $1,889 for rent here. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What do you all think? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up.
