Considering Plano vs Raleigh -help me decide

My family moved here when I was a kid. It's a a small town city with about 11,626 people. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 11 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Downtown side vs the Westside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
