Most overrated things about Plano

First post here. We have two kids and Household incomes average around $108,649 in Plano. The unemployment rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $108,649, which feels pretty solid for the area. Poverty rate is 5.3%, which is pretty low. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Pros:
- Great weather
- Good schools
- Diverse community
- Low taxes
- Strong sense of community

Cons:
- Hot summers
- Far from major airports
- Not enough green space
Would love some local perspective. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Weather-wise, the summers are average and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.
