Working remotely from Plano — my experience

I've been working remotely from Plano for 7 years now. Here's my take:

The pace of life here is perfect for remote work. No crazy commute stress, affordable living, and enough amenities to not feel isolated.

Cost of living: pretty reasonable
Internet: Fiber available in most areas — no complaints
Coworking spaces: A few good ones downtown

If you're looking for a place to WFH, Plano is worth considering.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is check out the local Facebook groups for neighborhood info. Makes a big difference.

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Old Town and University District are perfectly safe.

Don't sleep on Cedar Hills. It's up and coming and still affordable.
