I'm retired and Poverty rate is 3.8%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $237,200 on average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Worth the trade-offs?

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a chef who relocated here from Baltimore about 13 years ago. The main reasons were family and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Diverse dining options
- Lots of family-friendly activities
Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are pricey, gas is underrated.
Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Happy to answer more specific questions..
