Should I move to Pleasant Grove or stay in Baltimore?
Curious what people think. My partner and I are It's a a small town city with about 1,384 people. The unemployment rate is 1.2%, which is pretty low. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Looking forward to hearing from you all.

We moved here with our family and I genuinely enjoy living here. Schools in Midtown area are tough. Kids love it here.

I'm a chef and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want pet-friendliness, then yeah this place is great. But if cost of living matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Phoenix about 15 years ago. The main reasons were work and family.
Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good internet infrastructure
- Lots of family-friendly activities
Cons that are real:
- Dating scene is rough
- Limited entertainment options
Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are manageable, gas is better than expected.
Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Definitely worth checking out..

Bought a house here in 2021 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in East. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in legal. If you're in legal you might struggle.
People: Generally pretty good. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Southern.
