Day-to-day life in Pleasant Hill, CA

We're a young couple and Median household income is $144,513, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 7 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Meadowbrook side vs the The Heights side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
