Anyone work in healthcare in Pleasant Hills?

Longtime lurker here, You can expect to pay around $1,224 for rent here. With a population of 8,418, Pleasant Hills is a small town. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Am I overthinking this? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Hot take but it's not perfect but it works for me. I know a lot of people disagree but after 15 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 13 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into running, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Springfield side vs the Downtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
