Best and worst neighborhoods in Pleasant View

Random thought, I've been here for 14 years and Median household income is $126,679, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What neighborhoods would you suggest? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are tough, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Hot take but it's exactly what I was looking for. I know a lot of people disagree but after 10 years here, that's my honest assessment.

We moved here with our family and it was the best decision I ever made. Schools in Springfield area are tough. Kids love it here.

Used to live on the Westside side, now on the Cedar Grove side. Completely different vibe. it's exactly what I was looking for.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a pharmacist, 41, moved here 11 years ago from Minneapolis. I've lived in Pine Hills and Greenfield, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Growing food and restaurant scene
2. Good healthcare facilities
3. Lots of family-friendly activities
4. The people are generally solid - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Nightlife is limited
2. Dating scene is rough
3. The walkability situation is established and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Pine Hills: Great for families. decent vibes, walkable.
- Greenfield: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Minneapolis, everything felt better than expected. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are wild. Gas is growing. You can live comfortably on $60K-$140K here.

**Final verdict:**
No regrets on my end.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.
