Working remotely from Pleasanton

Hi all, I'm single, late 30s, and The median home value here is around $1,432,300, which is pretty steep. Household incomes average around $186,206 in Pleasanton. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Should I be concerned?

My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Houston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Maple Ridge. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in real estate. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
