Curious what people think. I relocated for work and Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Anyone in a similar situation?

I'm a data analyst and I've found the quality of life is solid. The community is better than expected and there's always something going on.

I've been living here for 9 years and I'd say it exceeded my expectations. The community vibe is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Compared to Baltimore it's hit or miss.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in The Heights. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in construction. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
