Why I chose Plymouth over bigger cities
Longtime lurker here, Born and raised here. Poverty rate is 8.8%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $122,200 on average. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

- Cold winters
- Sprawl everywhere

I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
