What's it really like living in Plymouth?

Hello, I work in retail and Median household income is $72,639, which feels about average for the area. The median home value here is around $426,000, which is pretty steep. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Thoughts? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

I work in legal here and I genuinely enjoy living here. The job market for my field is average. Definitely worth checking out..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are surprisingly good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Tampa and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in South. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in marketing. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
