OK so I've been here for 13 years and Household incomes average around $63,042 in Poinciana. Homes are going for about $266,900 on average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. Anyone in a similar situation? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

My experience has been mostly positive. I have mixed feelings honestly. The only thing I'd watch out for is job market. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Hot take but the quality of life is solid. I know a lot of people disagree but after 8 years here, that's my honest assessment.

We moved here with our family and the quality of life is solid. Schools in Sunset area are average. Kids love it here.

I've lived in Sunset for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Lots of new development happening
- Diverse dining options
- The traffic scene is underrated
The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Chain restaurants dominate
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. Hope this helps!.

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are developing. You get used to it after the first year.
