Longtime lurker here, Just moved here 18 months ago and The median home value here is around $523,400, which is pretty steep. Crime rate is something to consider -Point Pleasant sits at 80.3 per 100K. With a population of 19,158, Point Pleasant is a small town. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Anyone in a similar situation? TIA! Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
