I grew up here but left for a while. Household incomes average around $163,000 in Polk City. Homes are going for about $385,000 on average. The median home value here is around $385,000, which seems about average. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Am I wrong here? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
