Housing market in Pomona right now

Been meaning to ask this. I grew up here but left for a while. Rent is about $1,738/month for a decent place. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Is this normal for Pomona? Looking forward to hearing from you all.

The food scene here is underrated. Tons of great craft beer places. I'm still on the fence after all this time.
