Pomona quality of life — am I missing something?

Been living here since 2020. The unemployment rate is 4.0%, which is pretty low. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Bought a house here in 2021 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone about the same since then.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. the quality of life is solid. Internet is tough in most areas.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 9 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the walkability is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Sunset side vs the The Heights side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
