The good and bad of living in Pomona

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a 55-year-old police officer and Crime rate is something to consider -Pomona sits at 357.2 per 100K. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What do you all think? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Bought a house here in 2023 and I love the pace of life here. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Hot take but it was the best decision I ever made. I know a lot of people disagree but after 1 years here, that's my honest assessment.
