Best coffee shops in Pompano Beach?

Military spouse here. Median household income is $63,832, which feels about average for the area. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Should I be concerned? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a contractor who relocated here from Tampa about 9 years ago. The main reasons were weather and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Diverse dining options
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are affordable, gas is excellent.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
