Best companies to work for in Pompano Beach?

OK so Poverty rate is 11.5%, which is around average. Homes are going for about $321,900 on average. With a population of 112K, Pompano Beach is a mid-size city. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Am I overthinking this? Any help is appreciated. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. I'm a marketing manager and I've found I love the pace of life here. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to Dallas it's underrated.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Old Town. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in tech. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Hope this helps!.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want healthcare, then yeah this place is great. But if walkability matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Public transit is decent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
