Best industries in Pompano Beach right now

Curious what people think. Rent is about $1,636/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Let me know your thoughts.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 3 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
