Working remotely from Pompano Beach — my experience

I've been working remotely from Pompano Beach for 7 years now. Here's my take:

The pace of life here is perfect for remote work. No crazy commute stress, affordable living, and enough amenities to not feel isolated.

Cost of living: pretty reasonable
Internet: Decent, getting better with new providers
Coworking spaces: A few good ones downtown

If you're looking for a place to WFH, Pompano Beach is worth considering.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is check out the local Facebook groups for neighborhood info. Makes a big difference.

I've lived in Old Town for 1 years and it's a hidden gem honestly.

The food scene here is seriously underrated. So many great restaurants.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.

Respectfully disagree about the safety concerns. In my experience, there are good opportunities if you network.

I'd add that the parks here are amazing for families. Otherwise spot on!

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Old Town and Pine Grove are perfectly safe.

If you can afford it, Eastside is the best place to live. Period.
