Working remotely from Pompano Beach — my experience

I've been working remotely from Pompano Beach for 15 years now. Here's my take:

The pace of life here is perfect for remote work. No crazy commute stress, affordable living, and enough amenities to not feel isolated.

Cost of living: pretty reasonable
Internet: Could be better but workable with a good provider
Coworking spaces: Limited but the library works in a pinch

If you're looking for a place to WFH, Pompano Beach is underrated for remote workers.

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Maple Heights and Westside are perfectly safe.

Been here 20 years. The city has changed a lot but overall for the better.

Coming from Boston, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are slightly more expensive but housing makes up for it.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.

If you can afford it, Pine Grove is the best place to live. Period.
