How are the schools in Pompton Plains?

Alright, Been living here since 2017. Homes are going for about $488,200 on average. The median home value here is around $488,200, which is pretty steep. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Has anyone dealt with this? Thanks for reading.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from Baltimore about 9 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are affordable, gas is excellent.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Hope this helps!.
