Quick question about Pompton Plains

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm retired and With a population of 10,766, Pompton Plains is a small town. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Let me know your thoughts. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Greenfield. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in education. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
