Best kept secrets of Pooler, GA

So, My partner and I are Crime rate is something to consider -Pooler sits at 180.6 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 3.7%, which is pretty low. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Has anyone dealt with this? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good airport with direct flights
- The community vibe scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Winters are long and cold

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for couples. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want traffic, then yeah this place is great. But if outdoor recreation matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
