Biggest downsides of living in Poplarville?

Longtime lurker here, Average temperature is around 66--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a a small town city with about 2,814 people. With a population of 2,814, Poplarville is a small town. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Would love some local perspective. Thanks for reading. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

We moved here with our family and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Schools in Downtown area are better than expected. Kids love it here.
