Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it exceeded my expectations. Compared to Salt Lake City it's surprisingly good.

I've lived in Sunset for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Decent public transit for the size
- The food scene scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for retirees. Feel free to reach out with questions..
