Living in Port Carbon -the reality

Hey folks, My family moved here when I was a kid. Poverty rate is 6.2%, which is pretty low. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What are your go-to spots? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

I've been living here for 3 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The cultural scene is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
