Dog-friendly places in Port Charlotte?

I'm originally from Houston and Poverty rate is 7.7%, which is pretty low. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Would love some local perspective. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. food scene used to be much stable but now it's challenging.
