Is it worth buying in Port Chester?
OK so Military spouse here. It's a a smaller city city with about 31,162 people. With a population of 31,162, Port Chester is a smaller city. Median household income is $99,916, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $563,900 on average. The unemployment rate is 5.1%, which is about average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
