Remote worker thinking about Port Ewen

Longtime lurker here, I'm retired and The median home value here is around $270,700, which seems about average. Rent is about $1,598/month for a decent place. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

We moved here with our family and I genuinely enjoy living here. Schools in Lakewood area are better than expected. Kids love it here.

Came here for weather and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The safety is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
