Poverty rate is 7.8%, which is pretty low. With a population of 21,691, Port Hueneme is a small town. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Am I overthinking this? The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
